Door to the other side

Nice, the title fits with this piece very well. The door helps to emphasize this concept you are trying to get across in this image. The girl looks nice in this image, she stands out well with the bright red dress that contrasts the green grass well. She is cut out pretty well, except for some reason there is a black outline that appears on the sides of her dress, and that makes it stick out from the rest of the image and not fit as nicely as the rest of the girl. But i think you did a good job blending the bottom portion of the dress with the grass. The only thing I could suggest about that part is to maybe have some individual strands of grass coming up over the dress to make it look even more like she is standing in the grass. The use of the texture is nice, although when using textures sometimes its best not to apply it to the entire image, but try applying it to specific parts of the image to enhance and give more feeling to certain areas.
