New journal skin and things I'd like to start

I've a lot planned now that I'm coming back. Things I've wanted to do for a while... Re-drawing and maniping specific older pieces of mine, writing new stories, and working on my novel (yes- there's a new one). Well, all that and gaming, since my new computer is good for that. Yeah, WoW has already sucked me in and I'm only level 14. Welp.

The first two are on hold for another week or two while my laptop[ is in-shop to fix the hinge, which broke forever ago. My laptop has my photoshop, and I can't do a damn thing without it. I have elements, which came with the computer, but I don't know what the differences are yet. I'm going to try and get some photoshop on this computer as well, but we'll see. I miss using my tablet. though. I did a couple sketches in my boyfriend's notebook that I'll probably transfer to digital at some point. On my to-do, I plan to put what art I'll be re-doing,which I'll delete as I go, but will put up a "Kick my own ass" post for each of them... and of course back them up so that I don't lose them for when I kick my own ass again.

And I'm getting back in the swing of writing; It used to come a lot easier, but now my writing is getting shorter and shorter. An old rp buddy has come back to me, and we get to play together again (woo! Guess how long we've been playing together? Since I was doing one-liners in hs, that's how long) which will help, but I'd like to work on my writing solo as well, so I'm going to do a 100 theme challenge for my writing (thinking on it, I might do a totally separate on for my art and another for manips. We'll see.)

There's a couple of things I'd also like to be able to do: code, being one. Journals, Tumblr themes (yes I have a tumblr, no I'm never on it) Gaia themes (yes, I'll be coming back to that as well) etc. This is on a serious backburner. I'd also like to learn different styles of art. I'm working on my own specific style, but I'd like to also learn realism and pixel art. These two are also on backburners.

So, here's my to-do:
-Roleplay (ongoing. Current number of rps: 1 being discussed, none in progress)
-100 theme challenge: sora-horsey.deviantart.com/art… This is the one I am doing for my writing. I'll pick another later for art, and then another for photomanipulation. I'm going to set myself a word minimum, I just don't know how I want to do it yet. we'll see.
-Crossroads -this is my novel. I'm working on an introduction of sorts, but it's a slow process.

Re-working art; The following pieces are on my to-do to re-do. But please, throw me a challenge to re-do something not on this list and I'll consider, For a further challenge, I'll take requests from my watchers for drawing, writing, or manips, but beware: it may take me a while. I'll be re-doing the following:


I won't so much be re-doing this as doing more with it. I have a couple ideas, but nothing I'm sold on.

Oh my god do I hate this piece. Hate it. But it's so popular, I've never been able to bring myself to remove it, so I'll re-do it, and under the same specifications that the contest had. I've always wanted to make it interactive, a flash thing of sorts... Too bad I don't have a program for that. Maybe some day.
